About the Gathering
Arrive at sunset to Um Al Bdoun Camp outside of Disi, where you will be welcomed with a cup of tea and a short introduction to the events of the evening by your hosts, members of the Al Zawydeh Bedouin tribe. As a group, embark on an hour long camel ride to a private camp site set aside for your group, where you will enjoy a traditional Bedouin meal by candlelight. After dinner, a short hike by moon-light to a site in the desert where you will hear traditional Bedouin stories of courage, honor, justice and love around the fire. At the end of the evening, you will be escorted by jeep out of the desert.
